Fraport AG is an international airport operator based in Frankfurt, currently handling around 286 million passengers worldwide. After winning the bids for the concessions of International Airports of Fortaleza Pinto Martins and Porto Alegre Salgado Filho in March 2017, Fraport had to set up two new concession companies while at the same time preparing the projects of the necessary expansion works, which would be executed by the new companies. At this stage Infraway was hired in order to provide the conceptual designs for the airside and landside acces expansion projects at both airports. The projects were developed with high quality results and delivered on time. Especially considering the very short and challenging timeline of the project the consultants of Infraway have performed to our satisfaction.
Sebastian Schulze, Project Director Fraport AG
Fraport Brasil is an airport operator responsible for the management of the International Airports of Salgado Filho in Porto Alegre and Pinto Martins in Fortaleza, which were concessioned by the Brazilian Government in 2017. During the phase of operations transition and planning of the execution of mandatory works of the concession contract, as well as the necessary upgrades for safe and efficient operations, INFRAWAY was hired to develop the Infrastructure Management Plan (PGI in Portuguese) and the management of the development the Preliminary Plan (Anteprojeto ANAC) for the first phases of expansion of Porto Alegre and Fortaleza airports. The projects developed by INFRAWAY have met all expectations in terms of quality and time. All the consultants are highly professionals and committed to delivering our demands anytime. We look forward to continuing the successful partnership with INFRAWAY in our future airport development projects.
