AERONAUTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE (or CIVIL AERONAUTICS) is the branch of TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERING that addresses the disciplines necessary for the design, planning, operation and construction of AERODROMES.
From the choice of aerodrome deployment site to the design, construction, operation, maintenance and expansion, the AERONAUTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER (or CIVIL ENGINEER) plays an important role both for the airport and its operation as well as for the surrounding community, ensuring safety and comfort to passengers.
The AERONAUTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE projects are developed taking into account all the regulations and standards of national regulators such as ANAC and COMAER in Brazil. Also the international conventions for civil aviation must be followed such as the international regulatory bodies ICAO and FAA, to which ANAC also contributes to the development of these conventions.
INFRAWAY develops studies and projects of AERONAUTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE in areas of planning, earthworks, paving, drainage, horizontal and vertical signaling, navigation aids, and also has specialized partners to develop complementary disciplines such as electrical, electronics, environment.
In the next publication we will talk about HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE!
